MORE than 40 business people attended the first meeting in Worcester of the Worcestershire Networking Business Hub, which has been formed to improve business communication across the county. Held at Worcester Racecourse, the Hub was given an official send-off by Worcester's MP Robin Walker, who was guest speaker.
Chairman of WNBH, Chris Hume explained: "The aim is to build a business network leading on to referrals and forming a hub of mutual support, should help or advice be required.
The new Worcester meeting follows the launch 14 months ago at Kidderminster Harriers of WNBH Kidderminster, which has seen £40,000 worth of business generated in the first year.
"We are delighted to have the support of Worcester Racecourse, because the host venue is integral to the success of the breakfast meetings, along with a great mix of businesses. With the professional experience of the racecourse in all aspects of hospitality, it seemed the right place to host the Worcester meeting. The unique setting was the perfect back drop to a very successful meeting."
