MORETON will soon be better equipped to help people suffering from a cardiac arrest with the installation of four new defibrillators.
Clerk Heather Sipthorp confirmed that one defibrillator, funded by Moreton League of Friends, Moreton Town Council and Moreton Slimming Group will soon be installed outside the public toilets.
Speaking at Monday night's council meeting, she said South Western Ambulance Service is funding three further pieces of equipment.
She said one will be installed at the Railway Station, one at Cotswold Business Village adjacent to the cemetery and the third at the library.
"Hopefully they will be installed subject to dotting the Is and crossing the Ts," she said.
PC Sarah Crawford added they would be arranging a training session for the community.
