WHEN a mum of three decided to get her family involved in a new activity the last thing her kids expected was to be shipped off to a military style fitness boot camp.

Claire Challenor, aged 44, of Broadway, joined Xtreme Boot Camps with son Sam, 18, in January. When daughter Tori turned 16, she was also enlisted and younger daughter Hannah, 14, is a member of Teenage Boot Camps.

Despite the age difference, they have followed the same fitness programme and have all seem dramatic results in their fitness levels.

She said: "I was looking for an alternative way of getting fit and losing weight and Xtreme Boot Camps appealed to me as we could all attend as a family.

"To be honest, I did not believe at first that it would be suitable for us all or that we would all get the same tough workout, but the trainers really know how to push you to your individual limits whilst still taking part in the same programme.

"It’s great to be able to work-out with Sam and Tori in a positive and motivational workout and when we get home we can practice our plank and sit ups against each other."

Evesham Boot Camp runs at Evesham High School 7pm Tuesdays and Thursdays and 11am Saturdays and is open to everyone over 16.

Teenage Boot Camps run at Evesham High School from October 7 on Tuesdays at 5.30pm.
