A SECOND annual charity quiz has raised £2,000 for Kate's Home Nursing, based in Stow.
Thirteen teams made the line-up at St Edward's Hall with challengers including the Maugersbury Mob, Coxless Eight and Rachel's Raucous Reprobates vying for the title.
But a late challenge and clean sweep in the final round of questions saw the Weird Sisters retain the crown and Rachel's Raucous Reprobates resigned to taking home the wooden spoon.
The event was supported by a number of local businesses including Cheltenham Racecourse, The Bell at Stow, Cotswold Brewing Company, Tabitha James Kraan Hair Salon, The Royal Oak at Gretton, Daylesford and the local Tesco Store which kindly donated choc ices to round off the fish and chips supper.
