TWO teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man in Gloucester on Sunday morning.

The pair, aged 17 and 18, both from Bristol, were arrested yesterday, Tuesday, in connection with the death of 21-year-old Dolton Powell.

The 21-year-old was found with serious injuries outside All Nations Community Centre in Chase Lane, Gloucester, in the early hours of Sunday, August 23. He later died in hospital.

Senior Investigating Officer Detective Chief Inspector Steve Porter said: “We are continuing to investigate the exact events leading to the death of Dolton Powell in the early hours of Sunday morning.

“We are actively pursuing other suspects believed to be from the Bristol area and considering the possibility that one or more of these suspects sustained injuries during the events that resulted in Dolton’s death.

“We are asking, as a matter of urgency, for anyone with any information that may help us identify or locate those responsible for the death of Dolton Powell to come forward.”

Another man from Bristol and two from Gloucester were also arrested on Monday, August 24. The first was released without charge and the two from Gloucester have been released on police bail until Tuesday, September 15.

The two who were arrested yesterday are currently in police custody.
