A 'BUCKET list' guide to the top 100 things to see, do, or experience across the Cotswolds has been launched.

The Cotswold Bucket List was compiled on the recommendation of residents after The Old Stocks Inn, in Stow-on-the-Wold launched a campaign earlier this year.

Following a four-week nomination period, organisers have whittled down the suggestions to compile the list which can now be downloaded or viewed online.

Charlotte Tuck, general manager at The Old Stocks Inn, said: "We're thrilled to present the region's first bucket list, and we're pleased to say it's jam-packed with some truly unusual recommendations, along with a smattering of Cotswold favourites.

"From picturesque views and excellent eateries to quirky local traditions and fantastic events, there's something for everyone to enjoy."

Among the many attractions on the list are Chastleton House, in Moreton in Marsh, the Winchcombe Walking Festival and Football in the River, in Bourton-on-the-Water.

Activities are grouped into seven categories, including walking, historical, adventure, food and drink, family activity, relax and unwind, and events.
