WORCESTER'S bowlers returned from Pershore with a 24-shot victory 107-83 after winning four of the six triples.
They led by one shot after five ends and 49-48 at halfway.
Worcester charged ahead to lead by 31 over the next six ends with a six, three fours and three threes.
Over the remaining three ends, Pershore reduced the deficit by seven with a four and two threes.
Leading the city’s success were John Carter’s triple, who won by 15 and only conceded four ends.
After a tight first half, Mick Bullock’s trio pulled away to win by 11 with a six and four.
Completing Worcester’s victory were Arthur Jackson’s trio, who after trailing for the first nine ends then scored two fours and a three to triumph by six.
Terry Dovey’s triple always had the beating of their opponents, finally winning by five.
