I WOULD like to register my objections and opposition to the proposed new development by Sainsbury’s in Moreton-in-Marsh. I believe the new supermarket would disfigure the area, damage trade in the town (at a time when many small businesses are struggling to survive), possibly increase the risk of flooding in the area, and bring an increase in traffic through (but not into) the town, including numerous heavy delivery lorries.
The town does not need another supermarket.
