Shoplifters were chased from a Cotswold supermarket by staff and members of the public.
Police were called to the incident at a Morrisons in Mickleton high street earlier this week.
At around 11:50am on Wednesday, August 17, staff and passers-by chased three offenders out of the store with police recovering a “large quantity” of alcohol.
PC Nick Westmacott confirmed that two males were arrested a short distance away.
A vehicle relating to them with another large quantity of alcohol, believe to have been stolen, was recovered for forensic analysis.
Two males are currently being questioned while police search for a third man, caught on CCTV acting as a distraction.
“We would like to thank the spirited members of the public and store staff who gave chase and directed police to arrest the suspects,” added PC Westmacott.
“The whole incident has been captured on the instore CCTV.”
