ORGANISERS have been celebrating a successful four-day music festival attended by thousands over the weekend.

The Sunshine Music Festival, in Upton-upon-Severn, has finished after a four-day celebration which started on Thursday, August 24.

Across five stages, a wide variety of artists performed for the crowds, including Ronan Keating, Marc Almond of Soft Cell and 10CC, alongside talented local performers.

Steve High, of the Sunshine Music Festival, said this year's acts may have been the best so far.

He said: "We have had a brilliant festival this year and we have probably had the best class of acts we have ever had.

"The thousands that attended really seemed to enjoy it and the diversity of music and acts going on this year was great.

"Rounding off the event with 10CC last night was a great way to mark the end of a successful event."

Mr High highlighted a couple of star acts that featured at the festival which the crowds really enjoyed.

He said: "We had a 19-year-old Elvis Presley impersonator which literally had the entire crowd singing along with him.

"We also had this amazing 14-year-old singer who actually did a performance on the main stage after Ronan Keating on Saturday which was really special."

Other young performers included teenagers Louie Tame and Henry Dauncey who took to the stage to perform rock classics as their band 'Volta'.

Ruby Binning, 10, was also wowing crowds whilst performing at the festival as a DJ.

The event also had "the UK's largest inflatable land" for children, belly dancers, stunt shows, a big top full circus and a mountain bike display.

There was also a food village for attendees to get refreshments and a kid's disco for younger attendees.
