Mr James said: "I’m so excited for Big Feastival 2024, every year the festival gets bigger and better.

"We already have a stellar music line-up with so much more still to announce.

"This is the ideal way to spend your August bank holiday weekend, with friends, family and plenty on offer to keep everyone entertained.”

Miss Hill, who hales from Bewdley, Worcestershire, will be headlining the festival on Friday night.

After emerging on the UK music scene as a contestant on The Voice in 2014, she became the first (and so far only) artist to compete on the show to score a number one single, hitting the top spot with Gecko (Overdrive) in collaboration with Oliver Heldens.

Since then, she has released numerous hit singles and won two BRIT Awards.

Snow Patrol, on the other hand, will end the festival in the Sunday night headliner slot.

They entered mainstream music in 2007 with their number one album Eyes Open.

It yielded the single Chasing Cars, the most played song of the 21st Century on UK Radio.

Other performers including Ella Henderson, Joel Corry, Natasha Bedingfield, Kate Nash, CMAT, Jalen Ngonda, Ash, Scouting for Girls and The Florentinas are also expected to grace the stage.

Further music acts, including Saturday’s headline act, and a culinary programme will be announced soon.
