The evening promises to offer insights into Ukrainian life and showcase the country's music.

Starovoyt, who began publishing her critically acclaimed poetry in 1997, has represented her country in numerous literary events across Europe.

War displacement has affected many Ukrainians, particularly women and children, some of whom are now refugees in the UK.

The Literary Society will contribute a significant portion of the event's proceedings to buy Ukrainian language books, which will be gifted to Ukrainian children living here to help them maintain a connection with their roots.

Those interested in supporting the cause or participating in the event can buy tickets for £8, which can be purchased on ukrainefrontline.eventbrite.co.uk or at Clarke’s Electrical in Shipston.

Opportunities to sponsor tickets for displaced Ukrainian nationals are also available.
